Testing Process
- Upload the addresses into the Locations table.
- Upload the addresses into the Students table, and set the LocationId to that of the identical Location. We end up with one student per bus stop, but that will be good for testing.
- Create a spreadsheet with about 20 vehicles with a capacity of 30, and upload into the Vehicle table.
- From the Region menu, run the Add Locations. This will update the existing base road network binary file. And then run Create Road Network which will give you a good road network.
- From the Route menu, run the Create Routes function. This should run the optimizer, but note that I have not written the last step: creating the Route and RouteLocation records. If you have time or get ambitious, you can write this part.
